Captains, Collectors, Friends & Adventurers Exhibition

The New Zealand Maritime Museum Hui Te Ananui a Tangaroa has excitedly launched its latest exhibition, Captains, Collectors, Friends & Adventurers.

Maritime Museum Director, Vincent Lipanovich ensures there is plenty to capture the interest. He’s speaking the language of boaties when he says…“The sea has always been a great connector of people and stories, and Captains, Collectors, Friends & Adventurers is our chance to share some of these in a way that’s both fun and informative.”

Head to the exhibition (on through to June) to view items from the museum’s collection not normally on public display. As this article outlines, there’s a chance to come face-to-face with some of Aotearoa’s legendary mariners and peer into miniature worlds (imagine, for example, a bach the size of a matchbox!)
