The Hutchwilco NZ Boat Show Returns For 2025

The Hutchwilco New Zealand Boat Show drops anchor at Auckland Showgrounds from 15 - 18 May 2025. More than 200 exhibitors will pack the halls and outdoor yards, making it the country’s biggest marine showcase and a must‑visit for anyone passionate about boating in New Zealand.

Anglers will be in for a treat with the Shimano Masterclass Series. Local fishing experts - including Matt Watson, Tony Orton, and Chad Prentice - will share their know‐how on everything from targeting kingfish to practising sustainable fishing. And for those who appreciate good food and local flavours, the Kai Collective offers a celebration of seafood and regional produce.

Highlights include the crowd‑favourite Shimano Masterclass Series with Matt Watson, Tony Orton and other fishing legends, plus hands‑on Safety & Education Workshops for every level of skipper. Families can refuel at the Kai Collective, kids can conquer a giant pirate ship, and tech‑hunters can preview next‑gen boats, engines and electronics all under one roof.

Tickets are on sale now, and tickets for under‑5s are free. The show is also giving away its biggest grand prize ever - one lucky ticket‑holder will cruise away in a fully‑rigged Surtees/Yamaha package worth over $360k.
